Research at CFAS

At TrygFonden’s Center for Physical Activity Research (CFAS) we aim to develop physical exercise as a treatment for long-term illnesses.

Every third adult Dane has one or more long-term illnesses, including type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, COPD and cancer. Physical exercise has a potential therapeutic effect on all these diseases. The diseases we usually call chronic may be curable.
